Bio-sketch:

Dr. Ivana Stradner will focus on how Putin thinks and rationalizes his behavior, and on his aggressive use of Russian information operations and advanced forms of hybrid warfare – examining both the psychological and technical aspects.

Dr. Stradner is affiliated with the American Enterprise Institute in Washington and the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.  Before moving to Washington, she was a visiting scholar at Harvard University and lectured at a variety of universities, including the School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. She has a Doctor of Juridical Science and a Master of Laws from the University of California Berkeley, School of Law and degrees from the University of Belgrade and the Academy for Diplomacy and Security in Belgrade, Serbia.  She has been published in numerous academic journals and the press, including The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, National Review and Newsweek.
