To educate and inspire members, WACR usually schedules 9 monthly dinner meetings a year at the Irondequoit Country Club. A cocktail reception at 6:00 precedes dinner, followed by a thirty-minute presentation by the featured speaker. A lively Q&A session follows allowing members to ask questions and engage in a dialogue with the speaker. Speakers range from ambassadors, leading authors, noted journalists, university faculty, foreign policy scholars, “think tanks” and foundations. To consistently obtain the high quality of speakers desired, the schedule does require flexibility, including holding an occasional luncheon instead of a dinner.

DUES AND FEES
Annual dues are $150 per individual membership and $250 per duo membership. Spouses, adult children, or friends are welcome to be part of the “duo” membership. Dues are the only source of funding for speaker honorariums and necessary logistics of transportation, meals, and lodging for the speaker.
The cost of monthly meetings is separate from the annual dues. The dinner price will be listed on each meeting notice and is paid prior to each meeting.
WACR is a 501(c)(3) organization and the annual dues are fully tax-deductible.
